In the office
Had a quick 15 minute chicken rice lunch and headed back to office. The past 3 days, I've just been keying in data from a businesses directory into an excel spreadsheet. The purpose is to fax some promotional materials to potential clients. Nota Asia provides training services for working adults. 1% of your salary goes to a fund to improve your skills. Nota Asia has the license to use those funds to provide training.
As part of the deal, I might be getting 1-2 free courses worth at least 1-2k. Cisco certification, maybe? I like this job because of the proximity to my home. I woke up at 7 this morning, kept snoozing til 9am! Work starts at 9, I arrived 9:15 and was early! See?
There's free flow of coffee, tea and if lucky around 5pm we get "tea" - the leftovers from the participant's refreshments. I think twice a month, we gotta work on Saturdays, and tomorrow is a working Saturday! Thank God its only 9:30am - 12:30pm.
Yesterday I played badminton from 10pm - midnight. In total, I think we played 8-10 games, all of which I won. Damn, I'm good. My shoes were defective and I couldn't run. Nevertheless, its a morale booster to pwn those noobs =)
CG tonight - looking forward to that. Hope its a free CG then we can really have some fun. Yang Wei's birthday is tomorrow, so we might sabo him. He's also doing attachment now, so its fun to hoave friends who are also working. Only Lukas is enjoying life and going here and there without having constraints! Meh...
In my possession is a list of 1040 businesses in Selangor with phone / fax / address information. If I convert 1% of that into sales, I'd be very happy!
