Wow. DAP's Lim Guan Eng promises to use RM 17mil pubilc funds to give Penangites cheap water (almost free). Opposition leader (now Barisan National) slams the move as being populist!
His suggestion, give RM 1000 per month to the hardcore poor.
What a genius!
Firstly, the hardcore poor are likely to be uneducated. They would probably spend it all on Toto or Magnum (as I would ;P ) But the point being they don't know Financial Management. Prolly splurge it all within the first 3 days.
My suggestion would be to give the poor low-cost housing, then educate them so they can perform factory jobs or at least a rm 800/mth job. Education, Shelter and Food. They don't need cold hard cash, do they?
Boss is giving us Mc Donald's. I ordered the foldover so thats exactly 1 full day's salary. Its like getting a 100% bonus. How good is that?
Looking forward to 2 things this January. Windows 7 beta as well as Eminen's - Relapse & Dr. Dre's "Detox". I should make an album / movie called "Phailed" since everyone is going with single word with deep meanings. =)
The thing about Domain names. We were watching Transporter 3 (which was just below average) and the trailers before. We noticed that all movies had lousy sucky domain names, like EnterThe[movie name].net or [movie name]TheMovie.net. Firstly its not a dot com like it should. Then the suffix / prefix selection is atrocious! Just go to Apple's Trailer page to see what I mean.
